Pastor's Bible Study

The Pastor’s Bible Study at American Lutheran Church is weekly  (year around) on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Currently, Pastor Scott is leading the study “The Lutheran Handbook”.

Everyone is welcome to attend this time of fellowship and explore God’s Word. There are ample opportunities for discussion and questions.

The Psalm of the Day

Join Rev. Julia Sprenkle on Sunday’s from 9:45 – 10:15 am, between services in Education A&B as we dive into “The Psalm of the Day.”

Friday Morning Bible Study

This Bible study group meets on Friday mornings (January – March) at 9:00 am and welcomes both women and men. Whether you’ve grown up hearing Bible stories or you’re exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. Recently this group completed a series led by Di Garvey, “Amos: The God Life is the Good Life” by Jennifer Rothschild and will conclude at the end of March having watched and discussed “The Chosen: Season 2”, facilitated by Chris Weldon. Contact the Church Office for more information on this or the Pastor’s Bible Study.

Good Book Group

The Good Book Group meets the second Monday of each month (October – May) for book and/or author discussions. There is a four-month reading schedule for books and/or authors selected and lead by Good Book Group members. This study discussion group meets in Education A&B at 10:30 am and upcoming books are published in the Outreach Newsletter to allow interested persons to read the book prior to the discussion. Examples of recent books discussed would be “Mad Honey” by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Boylan and Dani Atkins “A Million Dreams.”
